Cancellation and refunds

Draft: written from what the atlas does, to be reviewed by a lawyer before payments start.

Cancelling

Cancel a subscription at any time from the account menu. Nothing more is charged; your plan stays until the end of the period you paid for, then the atlas returns to the free plan.

Refunds

Payments for a period that has started are not refunded, except:

• if you were charged twice for the same period, or charged after cancelling;
• if a payment went through but the plan was not given to you and we cannot fix it.

Write to hello@smartmaps.in within 30 days of the charge with its date and amount. An approved refund goes back the way you paid, through Razorpay, within 7 working days of approval.

One-off purchases

An area report is delivered as soon as it is paid for and is not refundable once delivered, unless it failed to arrive. A village watch can be stopped any time; it is not refunded for the rest of the month.

Changing plan

Moving up applies at once; moving down applies from your next renewal.

Delivery

Everything the atlas sells is digital and delivered in your account at once; nothing is shipped.
